Justin Willcock is a funeral home director. He phoned the Bates house to make arrangements for Norma's funeral service and Norman answered the phone. He asked to speak to Romero but Norman said that he didn't live there anymore. Justin asked if he could meet with them to discuss funeral preparations.
Norman did so and requested that he didn't want Norma's body embalmed, also mentioning that he was familiar with taxidermy. He asked to see his mother's body and was brought to a room where Justin introduced him to his daughter, who was a mortician.
Later when everyone was waiting for the funeral service to begin, Justin approached Norman as he was concerned that no one had showed up and Norman said that he would be the only one there. When Norman read the eulogy he had an outburst that shocked everyone and when Romero showed up, Norman gave him back his wedding ring and a fight erupted between the two of them. Justin reminded Romero that he was in a church and that he would call the police. Romero said that he was the police and left.
