I saw you reverted my edits. Sorry if I did something wrong. I am currently working on the German Wikia Community for Bates Motel and I think interlanguage links are a very good way to promote both language versions of the wikias. What do you think?
Interlanguage links can link to other language versions of a wikia community which has the same topic. In this case de.batesmotel.wikia.com (see the language prefix? DE stands for German/Deutsch). So if someone finds one of those wikis, sees the interlanguage links and decides to continue reading in another language the same article is available, he can click on that link. For more information visit the help page about interlanguage links: Help:Interlanguage links.
If it is okay for you I'd like to continue linking from your English article pages to the German articles in the German Bates Hotel wikia, which is currently still small but interlanguage linking is one way to draw more attention to it. I will also continue to add interlanguage links to the German wikia so people find the Englisch Bates Motel wikia. In addition I am currently working to increase the content and set up a attractive main page so it looks way more inviting :)
Good idea, but most people do not visit the wikia via its main page but dive directly into the content – for example via Google search results etc. Adding the links to every page is not a big deal for me. Or do you have any good reason against adding interlanguage links? A lot of other Wikia communities are already doing it and there are a lot of reasons in favor of interlanguage links. You can read about it in this blog post on Community Central: User blog:Sannse/Guest Post - Your Wikia, Internationalized
Hey, I'm liking this season a lot, but I still like the first season more. So far, my favorite episode of season 2 is Meltdown. My favorite episodes of season 1 are The Truth, Midnight, and Ocean View. Which of your favorites (of season 1 and 2)?
Not that we know of. The reason for Bradley being written off was that the actress who plays her, Nicola Peltz, was busy with movies, namely Transformers 4. It's possible she'll come back, but it pretty much depends on the actress wanting to return or not.
I'm so sorry, but this time I actually did make a big mistake. Really big this time. I was trying to fix up the Season 2 section of Norma's page and I completely destroyed it! I shrunk the text down to really small and the entire page looks terrible now. I was only trying to make the brackets episode - for example (Midnight) - small like it's supposed to be, and I ruined the entire section. I'm sorry because I know that this time, it's actually a huge mistake, whether it's easy or hard to fix. I'm sorry. Thank you for reading and I hope that it's fixable.
Like Klelijah said, you don't have to feel bad if you make a mistake. Every page keeps a history of all edits made to it, which allows admins to revert a page to a previous variant. If you mess up a page a little, no worries!
That's how admins can fix pages that have been vandalized.
On the top right of the editing box, there should be two tabs labeled "Source" and "Visual" that allow you to switch between those two modes. However, certain pages have "complex" code, such as the homepage for this wiki, so visual mode is not available. If you meant that the tabs aren't working or you can't find them, you would have to contact the wiki staff for help.
Hi Pie, I will try to help you. First off as an admin, you should have the visual tab option there for you. Some cases when it isn't there is because you are either using your phone or you are signed off. So if you are signed in and are using a laptop/computer, it should be there.
If not, source mode isn't that difficult to use. If you want to add information, just click on a specific edit button on the page for instance if you want to edit "Season 2," there's an edit link beside it and you can click on that. It'll make the source mode look less complicated and you can edit below there in normal text. I don't know if I'm making sense though ;)
Idk if you still have the problem, but it's a wikia glitch. It doesn't only happen here in BM Wiki but also in other wikis. You can't edit on visual mode, requires to log in even though you already did and having a different dp when you comment on an article or thread.
